Learn Brazilian Portuguese in a friendly, supportive online classroom where learning the language by using it is what matters most. Your motivation could be your life partner, because you enjoy your Forró, Capoeira or Samba classes, or simply love Brazil and its culture. This live course is designed to help you start speaking with confidence from your very first lesson. Course information Live online via Zoom Saturdays, 8:00–10:00am (UK time) Suitable for complete beginners Small groups of 3–8 adult students Each 2-hour Class includes: - Greetings and warm-up conversation - Presentation of new language - Guided speaking practice - Optional 5 to 10 minute break - Relaxed conversation practice - Homework and weekly wrap-up Extras: Course material Included Homework correction Individual Notes, File and Feedback Each class combines practical language, guided speaking activities and natural conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. We hope you'll learn alongside the same group of students each week, giving you the opportunity to get to know your classmates and enjoy learning together. Throughout the course you'll develop the vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation needed for everyday situations, while exploring Brazilian culture through meaningful topics and real-life communication. Little by little, you'll notice yourself understanding more of what you hear, recognising everyday expressions, and taking part in increasingly natural conversations. What you'll need: - Reliable internet connection - Camera and microphone - A quiet place where you can speak comfortably Classes are taught by Edna, an experienced Brazilian Portuguese teacher from São Paulo with over 20 years of teaching experience. Known for her warm, encouraging and often humorous teaching style, she creates a classroom where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, asking questions and learning together. You can book 5 sessions or 10 sessions at a time. Early Bird offer goes up to August 10th. We'd love to welcome you to the next group!
